The solution is an integral part the proces of digital parking control. The City of Amsterdam is one of the first cities to fully digitize parking. To verify if a vehicle has been paid for parking the lincese plate number is searched in the central Parking Rights DataBase (PRDB). The SCANaCAR vehcile is able to do this automatically more than 1500 times per hour with just one car and his driver.

Usage
The SCANaCAR autoscan drives through the streets and independant of the method of parking, straight, skewed or paralel, it will scan the license plates.

Technique
From several positions digitasl camera's look out of the customized car to proces more than 80 frames per second per camera. The detected number plates are instantly sent to the central database using the communication interface of our partner  Agendum.
